The Voice of the Duo

I was born and raised in Estonia. My musical journey began with piano — I graduated from music school with that specialisation, while also learning guitar and saxophone. It was with the saxophone that I played for many years in the school brass band, touring cities across Estonia and beyond. During my university years, singing entered my life through yet another experience — I sang in the women's university choir.

Then a long pause followed in my musical life. I returned to music in 2015–2017, and it was then that I realised singing was the direction I truly wanted to pursue seriously. From that moment, I became a laureate of many international vocal competitions.

Today I continue to sing not only in the duo — jazz remains my greatest passion, but my repertoire stretches beyond it, encompassing other areas of vocal music. I am also currently learning to play the double bass — an instrument that traditionally carries the whole breathing of a jazz ensemble. Looking ahead, this will open a new sound for E-TON DUO: a deeper, fuller bass foundation beneath the familiar duo of voice and keys, and perhaps moments where I can carry the bass line myself while singing, creating an entirely new dynamic within the duo.
